Description
A young daughter questions a father's stubborn resolve in disallowing a Christmas tree in their home, in this heartfelt and timeless story about dealing with loss and grief during the holidays. Jason Robards gives a stellar performance as the widower immersed in the pain of losing his wife, while Lisa Lucas shines as Addie, his ten year-old daughter, who misses her deceased mother terribly but wants to adorn their living room with a Christmas tree. She finds out the reason for her father's aversion to the tree and eventually the lines of communication between father and daughter are rekindled.
