Description

When a man-made virus wipes out the world’s population in 2009, scientist Neville finds himself the sole survivor in a deserted New York City. With only his dog for companionship, Neville desperately works to find a cure—and defend himself against roving bands of murderous mutants who, infected by the virus, stalk their victims at night.

Director Francis Lawrence fills the screen with one extraordinary scene after another, from Neville wandering through empty Manhattan streets, to a breathtaking flashback of a mass exodus across the Brooklyn Bridge.
