Ben Stiller (Meet The Parents) directed, co-wrote and stars as Tugg Speedman, a once-rugged action hero cast in a gritty Vietnam war memoir. His co-stars include Jack Black (King Kong, School Of Rock) as Jeff Portnoy, an out-of-shape comedian; a hilarious Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), who earned a 2009 Best Supporting Actor Oscar® nomination as Kirk Lazarus, an Australian actor portraying an African American soldier; Brandon T. Jackson as rapper Alpa Chino; and Nick Nolte (The Prince Of Tides, Hotel Rwanda) as retired military man "Four-Leaf" Tayback, whose 'Nam reminiscences send Speedman, Portnoy, Chino and Lazarus into the jungles in pursuit of a realistic setting in which to film Tayback's story. But far from home and beyond help, our celluloid "heroes" find themselves caught in the middle of a real guerilla war!
